Education at St. James Parish
Education is primary to every Catholic faith community!
At St. James we provide religious education for our children and adults.
Parish School of Religion (PSR)
The Parish School of Religion (PSR) enrolls youngsters from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Our teachers and teacher aides are parish volunteers. We thank God for such tremendous involvement and concern for the education of our youngsters!

The PSR meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. during the months of September to the middle of May.
R.C.I.A. Program
Do you who know someone who is interested in becoming a member of the Catholic faith? This person could be a relative, spouse, son or daughter, friend, neighbor or co-worker. Are YOU
are interested in the Catholic faith? Do you know anyone interesting in becoming a member of the Catholic faith? The RCIA is the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults to give instruction to those wishing to be baptized, and those who for whatever reason have never practiced their baptismal faith as Catholics. Classes begin this fall and continue until Easter.

No prior knowledge of the Christian or Catholic faith is required, and there will be no homework. Simply come with your questions, concerns, hopes and fears. Everyone is invited; including Catholics who would like to renew a sense of their tradition and/or seek to share their journey in the Catholic faith with others. Anyone interested in RCIA may call or e-mail the parish rectory at 573-438-4686; or email to: stjameschurch@centurylink.net
